# [SAP] Domain Controller ( 도메인 컨트롤러 )

1. What is Domain Controller ? 

• Certain system settings are the same for all systems within a transport domain, such as the transport routes
• To achieve this, one SAP System in the transport domain has the reference configuration, with all other SAP Systems in the transport domain taking copies of this reference configuration.
• The system with the reference is known as the Transport Domain Controller.
  
  
• 같은 전송 경로 내의 도메인에 속해있는 몇몇 시스템의 세팅을 동일하게 하기 위해 하나의 시스템의 설정을 참조하여 나머지 시스템이 동일하게 구성할 수 있다.
• 이를 위해 설정의 참조가 되는 서버를 전송 도메인 컨트롤러 ( Transport Domain Controller ) 라고 한다.

 

• Each time you change the reference configuration, you must distribute the new configuration to all system.
• The TMS automatically generates RFC connection between the system in a domain so that they can communicate.

• 기준이 되는 시스템의 설정을 변경할 때 마다, 다른 시스템의 설정을 함께 변경된다.
• 도메인 내 각 시스템은 RFC를 이용해 서로간의 통신을 수행하고, 이는 TMS에 의해 자동으로 수행된다.

2. How to configure a system as the transport domain controller

• Log on in client 000 in the SAP system that you want to configure as the transport domain controller
• 도메인 컨트롤러로 지정하고자 하는 시스템의 000 클라이언트로 접속

• T-code : STMS > TMS : Configure Transport Domain dialog box is displayed.
• STMS 접속 시, 전송 도메인 설정 창이 뜬다.

• You are asked for the password of user TMSADM
• TMS ADM 계정 생성을 위한 패스워드 입력
  
  
• You need it to set up an SAP system group again. You change the password of user TMSADM later by executing program "TMS_UPDATE_PWD_OF_TMSADM"
• SAP System group 구성을 위해 비밀번호가 필요하며, 'TMS_UPDATE_PWD_OF_TMSAMD" 프로그램을 실행해 비밀번호 변경 가능

• You have to display Transport  Domain
• 아래와 같이 전송 도메인이 설정 된 것을 확인 할 수 있다.

• System Overview > Domain Controller 확인 가능
  

3. How to configure transport route with virtual System ( Virtual System 이용하여 Transport Route 구성 )

• The virtual system is replaced when you install the real system.
• 가상 시스템은 실 시스템이 설치 될 때 대체된다.

• Transport Overview > SAP System > Create > Virtual System

• Set Virtual System name and description
• 가상 시스템의 이름과 설명을 입력하여 생성 할 수 있다.

• T-code : STMS > Transport Route > Confiiguration > Standard Configuration > Development and Production System
• Landscape 설정을 수행한다. ( 일반적으로 3 Landscape 이지만, 지금은 임시 구성이므로 개발, 운영 시스템으로 설정 )

• Select Development and Production System and set route automatically
• 개발과 운영으로 사용할 시스템을 설정하면 자동으로 Route 설정 완료
